Submission requirements for Gallery in the Park

(Any exceptions will be applied at the curator’s discretion)



Submission Requirements:

Curriculum Vitae, Artist statement (or statement of intent), Images of Art for submission,

anD A NONREFUNDABLE $35 APPLICATION FEE, WHICH must be paid at the time of submission

please note:

Images of Artwork should specify title, medium, date, price, and dimensions of the artwork.
Digital files preferred for submission, may be submitted as JPEGs, PDF’s, on USB or emailed to the address below.
Original artworks will not be accepted for submission purposes.


General Requirements for Artwork Submitted:

All work must be original to the artist submitting the work.

As a public gallery, many school children tour the facility and not all subject matter maybe deemed suitable.

suitability of work will be determined by the curator.

All sales will be handled through the Town of Altona administrative office.

The Town of Altona RECEIVEs a 25% commission for any work sold as a result of an exhibition at Gallery in the Park.

Art will be exhibited for the period of time agreed upon by the gallery and the artist.

Any work sold during an exhibit will be avail- able to the purchaser only at the end of each exhibition.
